Nathan Lockhart is a learning professional and certified executive coach with more than 25 years of experience. He has provided one-on-one coaching to executives on a range of topics related to leadership and communications. He has also delivered more than 750 workshops to organizations in the private and non-governmental sectors and to more than 65 federal departments, including all three central agencies.
A former employee of Health Canada and the Privy Council Office, Nathan’s knowledge spans a number of important disciplines including leadership competencies, strategic communications, negotiation and facilitation skills and issues management.
Nathan can break down complex information and tasks and communicate them in accessible, everyday language, using real-world examples that resonate with adult learners. He creates safer spaces where people can ask questions, seek help and make mistakes. He is a dynamic public speaker with a strong understanding of workplace challenges and demands facing today's professionals.
He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa (Master of Arts in Political Science), Royal Roads University (Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching) and York University (Masters Certificate in Adult Training and Development). He is a certified executive coach with the International Coach Federation.
Sally Lockhart has more than 35 years experience in the field of health promotion – particularly in the prevention of injuries. A social worker by training, she has developed and delivered child and youth injury prevention programs at the local, regional and national levels. Most recently, she has developed web-based child injury prevention resources for those working with families, and web-based sport-related concussion resources for those working with youth. She has collaborated on the development of injury prevention curriculum resources – the Canadian Injury Prevention Curriculum and the Canadian (Seniors) Falls Prevention Curriculum. She is a master trainer for both these curricula.
Sally has a wealth of experience in proposal writing as well as liaising on projects between non-government organizations and federal or provincial government departments. She has also provided strategic planning facilitation and advice for national injury prevention organizations.
